The U.S. reached the fifth year of war in Iraq this week. The U.S. economy shows signs that it is faltering with a high number of home foreclosures, bankruptcies, and news the stock prices of major investing firm, Bear-Stearns, dropping down to two dollars a share. The contest for the Democratic Party's Presidential nomination between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is ongoing with Pennsylvania being the next significant state voting at the end of April.

The Sunday Morning political talk shows focus on the Economy, Iraq War, and The Democratic Presidential primaries.

After the two dollar a share buyout of Bear Stearns and another quarter point rate drop by the Fed, Henry Paulson makes the rounds on the Sunday shows. New York Senator Chuck Schumer, blames the Bush Administration for the economic woes, saying that there is "no confidence by Democrats, Republicans, Leaders of Wall Street" and others. The Mashup also looks at the continuing Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama contest for the Democratic Presidential nomination.

Neither candidate may have enough pledged delegates to win the nomination. Now, Florida and Michigan are working with the DNC to be seated in the Denver conventions. Most of the discussions focused on this process.
